Joanna Triscott, Ph.D.

Dr. Joanna Triscott is an associate at Nextech Invest, based in Zurich, Switzerland.  She brings over 15 years of oncology research experience to her role in finding and fueling emerging biotechnology companies. Prior to Nextech, Joanna was a junior group leader at the University of Bern and a postdoctoral associate at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York, where her research focused on discovering new drug targets for prostate cancer. She has held multiple advisory roles for biotech start-ups and research funding organizations.

Joanna holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Medicine from the University of British Columbia and a Honours B.Sc. in Molecular Genetics from the University of Alberta. Her work has been recognized with several awards, including a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship, and the Pfizer Research Prize in oncology.
